The shell is really well made and of great quality.
Design is where it falls short. The surface of the shell
that they advertise as NON slippery, is actually VERY slippery and
a reason i can't get passed that.
Nowhere is said that. I assumed it was just an ordinary plastic, otherwise i would never buy it and get clear one instead...
But i wanted the BLACK not clear! The material surface feels like velvet or some smooth fabric making
it hard to keep the switch in hands. It slips and uncomfortable!
As for the D-Pad (the reason i got this shell) its really bad! With great regret i must say that...
The D-Pad doesn't have an essential component and that is PIVOT underneath, making it impossible to act as a functional D-Pad.
And yes, its possible, i made the pivot myself, but for THIS price for a piece of plastic, i shouldn't need to do it myself!!!
All in all, those two things makes the Shell useless for me essentially.
There it sits, collecting dust, with my money wasted on them because it didn't said what surface it is exactly
or explained, and because they didn't said it DOESN'T have a pivot.
Although i could have look past this all of this and give the shell a 5 stars, since i made pivot myself,
a functioning one, after a whole day of fiddling and modding the shell, but the material they decided to coat
the shell in is just horrible slippery and unusable. Ill probably give it to someone or toss them away.
A wasted money for me.
This was just my little rant and a honest review.
In summary:
- Great quality mold and plastic.
- Super Slippery surface advertised as NON slippery.
- D-Pad lacks a pivot, making pressing opposite inputs separately impossible,
making the D-Pad useless, especially for fighting games.
