4. Soldering optional. If you don't need the L3, R3 and touchpad buttons can be remapped, soldering is not necessary.

On-the-fly Buttons Remapping:
1. Just press and hold the Set button on the back for 3 seconds to enter the button remap mode.
2. You can activate the remapping function during the game and assign a maximum of 15 buttons (X, O, Triangle, Square, Up, Down, Left, Right, L1, L2, R1, R2, L3, R3 and Touchpad Button ) to the back buttons.

The product works great, no drawbacks to the paddles and the rubberised back grip is amazing. Would highly recommend especially since buying a pre-made customised controller can be really expensive and this is arguably a better alternative for a much cheaper price. The instructions on how to install the back paddles were simple to follow and only took me 15 minutes to install. Would definitely buy again for another controller.
Installation was easy.
Minimal soldering.
Issue occurred when playing as the two inner back buttons are raised in comparison to the paddles making them difficult to use.
