DIY Full Set Buttons for Steam Deck OLED
The shell has an amazing feel to it, the quality is equal to if not better than Valve. The options to choose from and customization is beyond any I've seen. All around 10/10 products definitely will buy more!
Quality is better than expected, everything required was in the package. Can only recommend.
The texture of the plastic feels cheap vs the original. However, timely delivery, decent build quality. Great instructions. Very well thought out and a near perfect product.
Ordered the white OLED SD case, for a shell swap.
The texture is smooth unlike the original. The sturdiness of the shell case is strong, it feels firm and secure. Doing the shell swap fit had most of the parts installed fitting well too.
Except the touch pads, the original touchpads are secured þt dexk, but when changing the to the new white ExtremeRate touchpads, they were a little looser. Nothing bad, but they dont feel as good as the original.
I advise to not bother changing the original touchpads. Shell case, and buttons are great though. With the OLED being still new, the shell case is still a good fit. Recommended except for the touchpads.
Case looks really awesome in person compared to the pictures. Fitment is mostly there, but the one I got has a slight gap where the top vent is. Gap is not noticeable to anyone else upon first glance, but since I know it’s there, it bothers me a bit. Also, it seems the tolerances for the screen gap is not as precise and tight as Valve’s, so there is a slight gap along the bottom of my deck screen. And maybe it’s user error, but my screen is slightly raised at all 4 corners. I cleaned all the old adhesive off and applied the included new adhesive strips. Overall, a solid shell and it looks awesome.
