Want to make your handheld console stand out from the crowd?
This is the way to go!
Great customization option for DIY enthusiasts with a handheld console for Steam Deck.

Read Before Purchase:
1. Specially designed full set buttons are only compatible with Steam Deck LCD (2022) handheld game console, not fit for Steam Deck OLED and other model handheld consoles (please note that the L4L5 R4R5 back buttons only compatible with eXtremeRate back shells, not fit for the official backplate and other model consoles).
2. This is full set buttons for Steam Deck without any electronic parts. The console, shell, thumbsticks and other parts are not included.
3. The buttons are clear but not 100% transparent.
4. Requires customers to take apart the console to replace the original buttons with eXtremeRate accessories. Requires customers with high hands-on skills, no soldering is required.
5. Tap here to check the installation guide video: eXtremeRate Steam Deck Full Set Replacement Buttons Installation Guide

Product Feature:
1. Ideal replacement for your broken or sticky buttons.
2. Totally upgrade your handheld console to the exclusive and stylish level.
3. Made of durable non-toxic ABS plastic, durable and practical.
4. Work exactly like the original buttons.
5. Personalize your handheld console, with a variety of colors to choose from.

Installation Tips:
1. Installation difficulty: High
2. Time spent: 1 hour or more
3. Patience needed: High
4. Go slow. Check every connection. Keep your screws and inner parts organized.
5. Watch a YouTube video on how to do it though, pausing and replaying often.
6. During reassembling the handheld console you must be conscious of how tight you are tightening the screws, and be careful not to strip the screws or over-tighten any screws.
7. There are multiple very delicate ribbon cables in the device that need to be removed and reattached.
8. Use tweezers instead of bulky fingers at all times to help with the little pieces that you'll take to move to the new case.
9. Be careful to use a heat gun or hair dryer to help you get the touchscreen off before installing the Power and Volume buttons.
10. Note that the temperature of the heat gun should not be much high. Use light hot wind to evenly heat the edges of the screen.
11. Please remember not to forcibly lift the screen and make sure the distance is no more than 3mm when using the prying tool to tear down the screen to avoid damage.

Package Includes:
1x A/B/X/Y buttons

Great replacement if you want to give your deck a custom touch

Great quality and fit, second set I got for one of my decks.
I also colored the letters white myself making the buttons look even better!

Great Buttons But Take Your Time Applying Them

These buttons have a great feel and look great. But, the extremerate guide has a few issues and tips missing that could cause you to accidentally break something. Also, the trackpads are impossible to install, the spudger they give you doesn't work. I would've given this a 5 star if they labeled all the bags of extra screws. It's near hair-pulling to try and find the right screw while following the video guide. Make sure to take your time installing these buttons and for the love of god, please label and keep all your similar screws together, it'll save you a lot of frustration. If you were considering about doing a shell swap but think it's too complex, honestly you might as well do it of you're planning to replace the buttons since you pretty much remove everything except the screen to install this. Overall they're great and I'm glad I went with extremerate.

Surprisingly great fitment and looks!

I was very surprised with the quality of these buttons - I got the full set for the Steam Deck that replaces every button, including the volumes, touchpads, directional, triggers, steam/*** buttons, and the XYAB buttons.

They looked to be almost exact replicas of the original, with a few of the pieces being designed slightly better (my oem L2/R2 triggers slightly grinded the sides of the case when pressing down, these do not grind the sides at all!).

They look amazing, and I really enjoy the slightly textured feel of them compared to the smooth shiny feel of the stock buttons - better grip and more feel is always a plus.

It was difficule to get the volume buttons out and in, but they designed the new buttons better than valve did imho.

my only request/wish, which does not take away from this product as it's the same with the OEM valve buttons, but the STEAM and *** buttons could be taller than the Stock ones (they are the same height).

Again, this is not a defect or problem, but a suggestion for the future. Being able to feel where those buttons are was an oversight from Valve, and this product would have benefitted from that. Perhaps a separate product to offer this for those two buttons?
