Check Your PS5 Controller BDM Model

Connect your PS5 controller to your PC with USB cable and press CHECK

Please identify your PS5 controller model number and confirm the compatibility before you proceed the installtion.

Notice: If the result shows Unknown, you can also check the BDM/HMB model with the serial number on the bottom shell of the controller.

For PS5 Standard Controller:

There is a 17-digital serial number as shown in the above picture.

Check the Second Character:

· 1 → BDM-010 (V1)

· 2 → BDM-020 (V2)

· 3 → BDM-030 (V3)

· 4 → BDM-040 (V4)

· 5 → BDM-050 (V5)

· 6 → BDM-060 (V6)

⚠️The Second number indicates the motherboard model.

Check the Second Character:

· 1 → BDM-010 (V1)

· 2 → BDM-020 (V2)

· 3 → BDM-030 (V3)

· 4 → BDM-040 (V4)

· 5 → BDM-050 (V5)

· 6 → BDM-060 (V6)

⚠️The Second number indicates the motherboard model.

For PS5 EDGE Controller:

There is a 17-digit serial number as shown in the above picture.

Check the second character:

· 1 → HMB-010 (V1)

· 2 → HMB-020 (V2)

⚠️The second number indicates the motherboard model.
